Modern Love in Bloom

This colour pop inspired styled shoot fuses on trend brights, with a playful yet sophisticated approach. The vision was a wedding day of unrivalled joy, captured and crafted in the capital city by a team of Wellington vendors.

The concept was developed by Wedding Planner, Britt from The Wedding Coach, and Wedding Photographer, Olivia Melhop who wanted to showcase an eye-catching colour palette using current trends, and elements of luxury.

Boomrock provided a breathtaking backdrop for the shoot, allowing plenty of light till the last drop of sun. The indoor venue allowed the colours to pop against the white walls, and the exceptional views of cliffs and ocean gave so much variety for photographs.

Colour was thoughtfully infused into the contributed elements of the shoot. The design was elevated by an asymmetrical floral style with bright and beautiful blooms including poppies, ranunculus, delphinium, and roses. The florals were complemented by beautiful linen and elegant stationery, made to catch your eye and draw you in.

Danicka was styled in two Paperswan wedding gowns, from detachable sleeves and a pinched waist, to low back with a full skirt. Her hair was changed between dresses from loose curls to a modern ponytail, with pearls and red lippy to match! Danicka’s husband Joe went from a light and natural look to sleek and black.
